Kingfish

People who know better refer to Kingfish as Jim Sweeney, a long-time San Francisco show-producer and entertainer who has been co-creator and M.C. to such Bay Area extravaganzas as “Spectacular! Spectacular!” and “Creepshow Peepshow.”

He joined forces with Eddie Dane in 2005, primarily because he’d started to gain weight and he wanted to be on stage with someone who made him look “thin.”

eddie Those who will admit it know that Eddie Dane is actually Eric Christensen. His troupe, “Dane’s Dames Burlesque” was one of the founders of the New Burlesque movement, and launched the careers of numerous performers involved in the scene to this day.

Unfortunately, this impressive pedigree has done Eddie little good, and he’s now sunk so low that he’s had to team-up with Kingfish (who is a total drunk.) Also, Eddie hears voices.
